Who publishes us
The Journal is published by Northbank Media, an independent publisher of specialist trade titles. We are not a clinic. We do not treat patients and we do not sell treatments.
Who writes it
Articles are produced by the Journal's editorial desk. Where a piece covers clinical technique we work from published literature, manufacturer instructions for use and UK regulatory guidance, and we state plainly where the evidence is thin. Sources are listed on every article. We are commissioning named clinical contributors, and pieces carrying a clinician byline will state their registration and their relationship to us.
What we are not
Nothing published here is medical advice. Aesthetic procedures carry real risks that depend on individual anatomy and medical history. Treatment decisions belong with a qualified, registered practitioner who has examined you. You can verify any UK practitioner on the GMC register, the NMC register, the JCCP or Save Face.
Corrections
